The reasons for this are several, and I will try as much as possible to disassemble them.
Start simple - gameplay.
Call it the original just will not work, because it is not original. Yes, there is implemented a fairly sophisticated management that allows to write various somersaults in the air and attack the opponents the most extraordinary ways, even joystick support is. But people do not like such difficulties, it is a fact, because for the full development will have to spend a lot of time.
Animation smooth here, but simple enough that certainly gives some reference to the project "retro" format, but the graphics deletes these errors, because it pretty good here, with the result that the animation is not glued, formed a strange impression.
In addition, your enemies - zombies appear here obviously not the number of the apocalypse, which is also a bit annoying, I would like more action and meat. To top it off - the game is quite powerful Donat, for those who are lazy and want everything at once.
