The game Paper Wizard is a roguelik for an android, which is somewhat different from the usual format of these games and thus he interested us and I suggest to understand and see what there is interesting.

We prepared a game in Paperian studio, from which no new projects have appeared since then, so there are even fears that the studio decided not to engage in games anymore, which, of course, is unfortunate. Anyway, let's see what led to this.

The gameplay for the game is really unusual, especially in the mobile platform format, just think about it - it's not something two-dimensional, it's a full-fledged, slightly gloomy 3D world, through which you can travel from location to location. The second interesting point is that everything looks as if it were made of paper, and if our hero turns sideways, it becomes clear that it is made of paper, because it is thick with a sheet ... In fact, excluding this oddity, everything else looks great, you immediately feel that the graphics were drawn, and most likely with a pencil!

In the rest, you are waiting for the usual dungeons, in which you can find treasures, monsters and much more interesting than in general you will have to deal with during a large number of levels. Here you can add the presence of various potions, an excellent soundtrack and even references to favorites of the genre that inspired the developers.

Disadvantages of the game:

• Studio is young, the problems from here are classic - poor optimization and the like, the game is felt raw
• No localization, all in English only

Bottom line: Of course, the game Paper Wizard is far from the standards of its genre, but this project had every chance of success, especially if the developers did not abandon it after the last update ... but who knows, maybe they will return?
