If you've been to old castles, you know perfectly well that for the most part they are beautiful and positive in every way, but as usual, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Each castle, somewhere in the depths there is always not only a dungeon, but also a whole system of ancient tunnels, which served as a secret route for emergency evacuation. Our hero is just the owner of such a castle and it so happened that he lost his way in his own dungeon, and, apparently, the engineers who built it tried to glory, all the traps are working, and judging by the number of its various inhabitants here for a long time no one appeared ... As a consequence, your task is to get out of there and be safe, which in fact is not so simple and not so fast ...

Bottom line: in general, all you could want from the classic platformer in the game Hoppenhelm is like a nice bonus - a gloomy castle atmosphere, native pixels and other little things that the developer obviously paid attention to.
