The essence of the gameplay comes down to the fact that you need to run forward and destroy everything in your path, literally grinding through all the opponents who will confront you. To do this, your hero has a weapon and a set of special skills that are displayed in separate control buttons in the lower right corner.
In general, in terms of controls, the developers have overdone it a bit, since all the necessary buttons take up a lot of space on the screen, especially the “forward” and “back” buttons, look at the screenshot, they are just huge!
There was also some discrepancy with the plot, as there is essentially no it, yes, they will tell you that you are in favor of some mythical clan that has entered the fight for the kingdom, but you will not be able to find a more detailed description of what is happening that is regrettable.
The role component is unfolding at the moment when your hero will no longer cope with the pressure of opponents and will have to improve it, developing his weapon, the power of special skills and the overall strength of the character. But immediately it is worth noting that all of the above, of course, does not fall under the classical understanding of the role-playing game.

Bottom line: the game Shadow Legends: Death of Darkness is a pretty addictive action game for android, from which you should not expect much, as well as developers should not expect much in terms of its popularity.
