We prepared a game in Pelican Party Studios, on the account of which this is the third project, but here it is immediately worth noting that the two previous ones did not find a large number of fans, which, most likely, is waiting for this new product, but more on that later.

Are you quite familiar with a life situation in which a person walks along the street, burying himself in his phone and completely ignoring what is happening around? Funny or not, but such situations often lead to injuries and other undesirable consequences, which the developers laid the foundation for their game.

The first “layer” of the game is some semblance of reality in this game world, a world in 3D, where our hero walks along the sidewalk with a phone in his hands. Here you need to monitor obstacles, among which there may be open hatches, pits, bridges and other typical urban situations. Moving left or right you can easily avoid obstacles, but this does not end there. The second “layer” is what happens on the screen of your character’s mobile phone, where a certain pixel platformer is played, in which your hero plays and which you also need to follow. There are also obstacles in the platformer that are dips on the path that you need to jump over. In general, the situation is also quite simple, but here you need to consider that losing in any of the “layers” ends the game, offering to start again. As a result, as practice shows, tracking two places at once is a difficult task!

Bottom line: yes, the Double Dodgers game turned out to be original, but because of the chosen format, the developers themselves drove themselves into a corner, because complicating at least something and playing will become unbearable. Nevertheless, players quickly understand the primitiveness of what is happening separately, which definitely does not play into the game. The only real complication that occurred to us was to try playing by moving around the street with the phone in your hands, thereby adding another “layer” ...
