Its a little strange that this happened only now, but the second part appeared, which is simply impossible to look at with an open mind ... you will have to feel a little nostalgic and remember what happened before.

The first part of the game Fruit Ninja appeared in April 2010 and moved to Android in the fall. It featured insanely simple and straightforward gameplay that offered you chopping up a variety of fruits for juicy results. Mechanics was unique at that time, the understanding that physics can be "like this" then, too, not everyone could demonstrate. As a result, on Android alone there are more than 100 million downloads of the free version and more than a million downloads of the paid version, which, by the way, are still on Google Play and you can download them.

After 10 years, mechanics and physics will not surprise anyone, so what did the developers decide to offer us in the format of the second part? Maybe its new, incredible graphics? Or a fundamentally new format of what is happening? Unfortunately no.

Yes, the graphics have become sharper and the animation smoother, but sorry, 10 years ago, the flagship Samsung Galaxy S had a single-core processor, 512 megabytes of RAM and not the most optimized android version 2.1. Today, the flagships have eight cores in processors, eight gigabytes of RAM, the most modern android version 10 or even 11, and what kind of space the video cards flew into, we wont say anything. Despite this, the graphics in the game just look fresher and sharper ... faint, what else to say. The mechanics have not changed, but several game modes have been added. To be honest, we are upset! But on the other hand, a different format had no chance of existence in principle.

• As before, the game is dynamic and addicting;
• Many different boosters and power-ups;
• The ability to collect a collection of unique blades;
• Large selection of arenas;
• An extensive set of mini-games and several new modes;
• There seems to be no paid version.

Disadvantages of the game:

• It wont work without Internet access, which is sad;
• Advertising and in-game purchases like other projects;
• Broken expectations of older fans.

Bottom line: Fruit Ninja 2 is a good game, addictive and fun, but you can only say that if you didnt spend hours in the arms of the first part 10 years ago. Of course, over the past 10 years the audience has changed a lot, but nevertheless we cannot call the new product a worthy continuation.
